Johann Zarco
After four seasons with Ducati, culminating in his maiden MotoGP win in 2023, Johann Zarco started a new challenge last year with the Honda LCR team.
For his second season with the Japanese manufacturer, the Frenchman (born July 16, 1990) aims to take advantage of the progress made with the RC213V to aim for regular places in the Top 10 and once again become the best Honda rider on the grid.
An experienced rider, Zarco made his debut in the 125 Grand Prix in 2009 and took his first victory in 2011 with Ajo, finishing runner-up in the world championship.
After a stint in Moto2, he won two consecutive titles (2015 and 2016) before moving up to MotoGP with Tech3 in 2017.
Best rookie with three podiums and a final sixth place, he quickly emerged as a frontrunner in the category.
His move to KTM in 2019 came to an early end, but he bounced back at Ducati through Avintia, then Pramac, where he scored 14 podiums and finally achieved his first success in Australia in 2023.
In his first season with LCR Honda in 2024, Zarco achieved two top 10 finishes, including a solid eighth place in Thailand.
