Raúl Fernández
Raúl Fernández made his debut in the Spanish Moto3 championship at the age of 14, while also taking part in the Red Bull Rookies Cup, where he achieved a series of podium finishes.
Third in 2016, he also impressed in the CEV and made his Grand Prix debut as a substitute.
Crowned Spanish champion in 2018, he joined the Moto3 World Championship full-time the following year with Nieto, but finished only 21st after a season full of mistakes.
In 2020, he moved to Ajo, took his first podium in Aragon and scored his maiden victory at the Europe GP. He broke through in Moto2 the following year with eight wins, narrowly missing out on the title to his teammate Remy Gardner.
Both moved up to MotoGP with Tech3 KTM, but Fernández struggled to adapt and left the team for RNF Aprilia in 2023.
Despite an aging machine, he achieved a strong fifth place in Valencia.
In 2024, under the TRACKHOUSE banner, he had his best MotoGP season with six top 10 finishes, 66 points and a victory in the Sprint that was narrowly missed in Catalonia.
Now the team leader, he is aiming for a top 10 overall finish, or even better on circuits suited to the Aprilia.
