Stefano Nepa
Stefano Nepa is the second Italian rider to join SHARK in 2025.
At the age of 23, Nepa is a very experienced rider.
After gaining experience in the Europeo Minimoto Junior A and the Italiano Mini GP 50cc, he impressed on home soil by winning the Pre-Moto3 (CIV) championship in 2014. In 2016, he joined Moto3 in CIV and went on to spend two seasons in CEV Moto3.
In 2018, he finished fifth in Barcelona and obtained a wildcard for the Italian Grand Prix.
He was then called up by the CIP team to replace the Kazakh Makar Yurchenko.
He scored his first points in Valencia. Without a permanent seat for 2019, he returned to the CEV before taking Vicente Perez’ place at Avintia, a team with which he recorded two top 10 finishes.
He added three more with the Aspar team. In 2021, he joined the BOE team, then MTA in 2022.
Finishing 12th in 2023 and then 13th in 2024, he was recruited by the SIC58 Squadra Corse of Paolo Simoncelli for 2025.
