Johann Zarco - Shark Helmets

JOHANN ZARCO #5

Meet Johann Zarco: born in Cannes on 16 July 1990, this French professional motorbike racer has been competing in the MotoGP championship since the 2017 season.

After a promising start in the Pocket-Bike championships in Italy and then in Europe, and a first place in the Red Bull MotoGP Rookie Cup in 2007, Johann Zarco entered the 125cc championship in 2009. Thanks to one victory and eleven podiums, the French rider became vice-world champion in 2011.

The following season saw the arrival of Johann Zarco in the Moto2 class, a challenge worthy of the rider's ambitions, who scored his first podiums in 2013. His steady progress enabled him to win the Moto2 championship in 2015 and retain his title in 2016.

For the 2017 season, Johann Zarco joins the top category as a rookie on a Yamaha belonging to the Tech 3 team. With his good race results, Johann Zarco signed with the Red Bull KTM Factory team for two seasons in 2019. The partnership came to a premature end, but Johann Zarco found his way back to riding with the LCR Honda team.

In 2020, the French rider joins the Reale Avintia Racing team for another season in MotoGP, before signing up the following year with the Pramac team and its Ducati bikes. Johann Zarco finished the 2021 season in fifth place in the championship, and repeated his good results in 2022 with four podiums and seventh place overall at the end of the season.

Driven by his thirst for victory, Johann Zarco continued his development and announced his commitment to riding a Honda for the Honda-LCR team for the 2024 and 2025 seasons. A journey that SHARK is proud to accompany at the highest level.

Miguel Oliveira - Shark Helmets

MIGUEL OLIVEIRA #88

SHARK accompanies Miguel Oliveira, a Portuguese rider born on 4 January 1995, who has been competing in MotoGP since 2019.

After several years competing in the Portuguese and Spanish national championships, Miguel Oliveira proved his worth in the Moto3 and Moto2 categories between 2011 and 2018, finishing the 2015 season in second place overall.

He signed for MotoGP with the Red Bull KTM Tech team in 2019, a partnership that has continued for the 2020 season despite injuries preventing him from reaching his full potential.

Miguel Oliveira won his first MotoGP race in 2020, making history by becoming the first Portuguese rider to win a Grand Prix. The rider took another victory, this time in his home Grand Prix at the end of the 2020 season, finishing 9th in the overall standings.

Miguel Oliveira was signed by the KTM Factory Racing team for 2021, and achieved 3 podiums in a complicated season marked by technical retirements and injuries. Retaining his place in the official KTM team for 2022, the Portuguese rider finished 10th in the championship, having won two Grands Prix.

The 2023 season was a major turning point in the career of Miguel Oliveira, who joined the Aprilia RNF team. However, the Portuguese rider was forced to miss a number of races due to injury: getting his season back on track is a challenge to be met!

Raúl Fernández - Shark Helmets

RAÚL FERNÁNDEZ #25

Raúl Fernández is a Spanish motorbike rider accompanied by SHARK. He has made a swift ascent since making his debut in speed racing at the age of 15 in the Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup, which saw him finish third in the 2016 season. Thanks to his good results, he was called up to replace an injured rider on the MH6 team and compete in the final Grand Prix of the 2016 Moto3 season.

During the 2017 and 2018 seasons, Raúl Fernández has been invited by a number of teams to ride at some of the Moto3 Grand Prix. He also took part in the regular season of the Moto3 Junior Championship, which he won in 2018 with a KTM.

His first full season in the Moto3 World Championship came in 2019, with a number of top 10 finishes in the grands prix. In 2020, still in Moto3, Raúl Fernández joined the Red Bull KTM Ajo team. With four podium finishes, including two victories, and six pole positions, the rider had a very good year, finishing fourth in the overall Moto3 standings.

In 2021, the Red Bull KTM Ajo team will accompany Raúl Fernández as he moves up to Moto2. He shone in this category, taking eight wins and breaking podium records as a rookie, finishing second in the championship.

Thanks to his exceptional performances, Raúl Fernández was promoted to MotoGP the following season, still riding a KTM for the Red Bull KTM Tech3 team. For the 2023 season, the Spanish rider has signed with Aprilia, and his season has been marked by several retirements as well as a number of top 10 finishes during the grand prix.
